Kiinteistö Oy Opetustalo is a mutual real estate company, which the Foundation of Finnish Business College (Suomen Liikemiesten Kauppaopiston Säätiö) and Helia Foundation own together. Two buildings, SLK-talo and Helia-talo, belong to the real estate company situated in Itä-Pasila in Helsinki.

 

The name SLK-talo is used for the 1st construction phase building Kiinteistö Oy Opetustalo, which was finished in 1978. The building was refurbished during the years 1990-1992 and 2004-2006.

 

The Foundation of Finnish Business College owns the shares entitling the use of the SLK-talo premises and the Finnish Business College functions in the premises. The area of the SLK-premises is 18,012,5 m2.

The function of the Kiinteistö Oy Opetustalo is to centrally administer and manage the real estate and functional environment operations of the SLK-talo and Helia-talo situated in Itä-Pasila in Helsinki. The core task of the company is to provide cosy and safe, efficiently and economically functioning facilities and environment for the educational establishments functioning in the premises.


It is also Kiinteistö Oy Opetustalo's responsibility to arrange for the renting of educational facilities at SLK-talo and Helia-talo, when there is no educational activity scheduled.
