The core duties of vocational education include diverse development and service tasks, which aim to cater even better than before to the changing labour and competence needs of industry and commerce. At Helsinki Business College, the most important aspect of quality assurance is to assist in the continuous improvement and development of the college’s operations and their outcomes. Quality assurance forms an indelible part of the functional systems of the education providers, and is thereby connected to all functions and all levels of the organisation.
Systematic and determined quality assurance efforts have highlighted the quality of the education and operations at Finnish Business College - the EDP Institute earning two quality awards for vocational education from the Ministry of Education (in 2004 and 2008).
